Everyone has fantasized about it…
You’re walking down a white sand beach next to the crystal blue waters of some deserted Caribbean island, when you stumble over the top of something sticking out of the sand.
It looks like an old piece of metal.
But then, you reach down and dust all the sand from around the piece of metal and discover an old lamp of some kind.
It must be centuries old…
As you rub the side of the lamp in an effort to clean it up, a cloud of smoke rises from the lamp, and an enormous magical genie suddenly appears.
Just before you pass out from shock, you hear the genie speak to you in a deep, thunderous voice…
“You have freed me from centuries of isolation, trapped inside the lamp. To show my gratitude, I will grant you
1 wish. It can be anything you desire. What shall it be?”
Ok…this is it!
Your big chance.
You have 1 wish…not 3…just 1… and it can be anything in the world you’ve ever dreamed of.
Your life will never be the same…
Don’t blow it!!!
Ok, you’ve got it…the one perfect wish. You look up at the genie, and shout at the top of your lungs…
“I wish for (insert your wish here)!”
For many, the pressure of coming up with the 1 perfect wish would be a daunting task.
Most would choose obnoxious wealth…certainly a logical choice.
For me, I wouldn’t have to think twice about it.
My answer would be immediate.
My wish:
** I want to know EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING! **
That’s right…I want KNOWLEDGE. And I want ALL of it!
Because…
As the 16th century English Philosopher Sir. Francis Bacon once said…”Knowledge is Power”.
With knowledge you can write your own ticket.
You can have just about anything in the world your mind can imagine…wealth, power, you name it.
Knowledge, when put into action, gives you unlimited wishes.
Unfortunately, I doubt any of us will ever stumble across a magical genie to grant that wish of knowledge, so we have to go about getting it the hard way.
We go to school, we go to workshops, we go to seminars, we subscribe to magazines, we buy home study courses, and of course we read books.
I literally spend tens of thousands of dollars every year in furthering my education.
I’m obsessed with learning.
I could spend the entire day in the local book store, browsing through all the latest buiness related books, picking out the best ones to add to my book shelf.
Books that will give me the insight I need to take my business, and my life, to the levels I dream about.
But there is a problem.
It seems there is always something getting in the way of reading those new books on the bookshelf.
Actually, there’s always something getting in the way of reading those “OLD’ books on the bookshelf!
LIFE!
Life keeps happening, and the bookshelf keeps expanding…with unread books!
It’s just impossible to find the time anymore, given all that life throws at you every day.
Sitting down and reading a book is a luxury that only seems possible on the occasional vacation getaway.
God…I wish someone would just read all those great books for me, and then once a week, take 10 minutes to sit down and tell me everything I needed to know from those books.
They could give me all the wisdom from the books…
They could give me an analysis from a small business owner’s perspective…
They could emphasize all the life changing “Ah-Ha” moments from the books…
They could give me action plans from the books, along with specific delegation strategies for implementing the plans…
Can you imagine how powerful that would be?
Well, guess what?
Someone just granted my wish!
The ‘Power of Knowledge’ in 10 minutes per week, for less than the price of a cup of coffee.
I was totally blown away when I first saw this, and am so excited to be a part of it. You will be too.
As much as I hate the phrase “No-brainer”…if there has ever been one…this is it.
