Let me give you a Bonus Resource I thought of after recording the video.
3. Amazon.com - Click on “Shop All Departments”, then click on any product category and then click on the “Bestsellers” link at the top of the page. In the “Books” section, click on “Bestsellers”, and then in the left navigation column, click on “Non-Fiction”.
These resources will give you endless ideas for new products to promote via your eCommerce store. If you do your research right, you can be almost 100% sure that you will be successful before ever adding the first product to your site.
Ok, now that you have identified your products you want to promote, how do you find merchants who will pay you for selling them? And, how do you get these products listed on your site?
It’s drop dead simple….
Step 2 - What to Do After You’ve Found Your Hot Products to Promote
Now that you know what products you want to promote, you need to find merchants that will pay you a commission to sell them, and you need a way to populate your site with hundreds, or thousands of them.
So how do we do that?
With Data Feeds.
A data feed is a large file filled with lots of information. More specifically, information about the merchant’s products. A data feed can also be thought of as a database. Data feeds can contain anywhere from a handful of products, to tens of thousands of products.
Affiliate data feeds are provided by merchants to affiliates to better promote and sell their products. Data feeds are converted into individual products and include descriptions, links for images, links for visitors to click, pricing and more. The affiliate can take the information in the feed and build individual pages for each product, or put multiple products on each page.
Utilizing an affiliate data feed, means your site will have more exposure on the web through search engine results, and the higher number of pages published.
On the next page I’m going to show you a short video where I reveal my 3 favorite resources for obtaining high quality data feeds.
Here’s a screenshot of the video that you’ll find on the next page…
