Obviously, there are tons of different ways of getting traffic to your new product stores. Paid traffic is obviously the fastest way, but not everybody has deep enough pocket for media buys or even pay per click. I mean, we could spend hours and hours talking about paid traffic, but we’ll leave that for another day.

Heck, pay per click is the surest way I know of to go broke in a flash, unless you really know what you’re doing! So be careful if you go that route.

If you’re on a tight budget or just starting out, here are my favorite ways of getting really high quality targeted traffic to my site. Again, we’re going to keep it simple.

Keep in mind, this approach takes some work, and results don’t happen overnight, but if you are consistent, I know you’ll be really thrilled at the traffic numbers that you can generate.

1. Press Releases - Write and submit press releases through WebWire.com. I believe they have a free submission option, and then a very low cost paid option that will get you a ton of extra exposure. PRWeb.com is another excellent source, but quite a bit more expensive than WebWire.

2. Article Submission - This is still one of the most effective traffic techniques there is…period.

- Go to Jetspinner.com (free site) and created multiple versions of your articles, and submit a unique version to the different article directories. Never submit the same article to multiple directiories, it can do you more harm than good. If you want to automate the submission process, they also have a paid submission service called JetSubmitter.

-  Submityourarticle.com - Another good submission service.

-  ArticleMarketer.com - Yet another good option for submitting your ’spun’ articles from Jetspinner.

-  UniqueArticleWizard.com -  A much more complicated site for article submission, (they will also create your articles for a fee), but probably the most effective service I’ve ever used.

3. Linkvana.com - Submit blog posts to a network of high ranking blogs, creating high quality backlinks to your product pages. I’ve been using this service for over a year now and have had fantastic success.

If you do nothing more than utilize these resources for traffic, you’ll start seeing a steady flow of traffic hitting your site before you know it. And the best part about these traffic generation techniques is that they keep producing traffic for months or even years to come.
