The importance of links
Rumors have it that SEO is broken down into three components.
1. On page factors
2. Off page factors
3. URL factors
On page factors are easy. With tools such as Rasof available, it’s easy to know what exactly needs to go and where on your site. If you click that link and they are sold out, know that it’s just a matter of time before they reopen for business. There are numerous other SEO forums that will give you the info you need for on page factors.
URL factors are a bit trickier. Just keep in mind that the shorter the URL, the better.
But I want to focus on off page factors in this post. It seems that getting inbound links confuses people. They don’t know where to get them or even if what they are getting is quality and will help them in their rankings.
One resource I like a lot is Linkvana. Not only can you get good quality inbound links, but they are affordable and easy to use.
Part of The Wordpress Project deals with how to get the best possible inbound links from the best sources. I spell it out in detail.
If you are wondering how and where to get the best possible inbound links, then make sure you pick up your copy of The Wordpress Project right now while I’m still offering a 30 day free trial.
Take care,
Keith
