The $300 per month blog strategy
Most people that want to make money online lack focus and realistic goals.
If you ask the average biz opp based internet marketer how much they would like to make online, chances are you will get a rounded number in the millions.
Reality is much different and in this post, I will give you both a realistic goal and focus.
But be warned… this isn’t ‘easy’. It requires work. BUT, if you put in the work and stay consistent with it, then it will pay off in spades.
Your goal: $300 per month per blog
Rule #1: You will not be creating crap. The name of the game is to add value to the lives of those reading your blogs. Remember this.
Rule #2: Hiring writers from overseas is inexpensive… so start by adding one person to write for you.
Rule #3: Pick a topic people are interested in. I think this is where most people fail. Ask yourself the question: What does everyone want and most people don’t understand? Answering that question will create a traffic magnet.
Rule #4: Don’t get hung up in technicalities (like blog setup), focus on the content.
Rule #5: Strive to create 3 blogs per day.
Rule #6: Have 10 posts written for each blog… then focus on getting inbound links. One of those 3 blogs will gain some traction within 2 weeks. THAT’S the blog your writer will focus on and you will focus on getting more inbound links to that blog.
Rule #7: Once you have a blog gaining traction (getting traffic), research that topic to identify all long tail terms. Have your writer focus on writing for those terms.
Rule #8: Don’t stop. Set a goal for 3 blogs per day for 365 days. That’s 1095 blogs from which 365 of those should be getting traffic. With consistent linking and decent monetization, you should be making $300 per month PER BLOG. Let me do the math for you… that’s $109,500 per month.
Is that realistic? Yes.
But realize, each writer will be able to manage about 30 blogs per month. This means you will have 13 writers on staff at an average of $500 per month ($6,500 per month for writers). At this point, you will need a team to focus on linking strategies as well. Each person dedicated to linking can manage 20 blogs per month. You will be paying them about $400 per month ($7300 per month).
You may wish to hire 1-2 people for research as well and create a process flow from researcher to writer to linking specialist.
There you have it.
In The Wordpress Project, I cover how to find profitable markets to attack. I also cover a method for launching your blogs, the tools I recommend, how to monetize them, and how to get them indexed (with nothing held back).

So how often do the writers continue to post to the ’successful’ blogs after the initial seed of posts?
As often as you want.
If the blog is really gaining traction, then aim for 5x per day. If it’s getting decent traction, 2x per week is fine.

Let me see if I understand you. Create 3 NEW blogs per day for 365 days, is that correct? If so, where in Gods green earth are you getting all of the ideas from, much less the content? Writers = money.
I will admit that I have ideas for several new blogs, but 3 per day is a little over the top. Plus having to create content for all of them also, or the money to pay the writers.
I admit that I like the math, but I personally think that it is an unrealistic goal. And where do you expect the newbie to get the money to pay the writers?
I am not happy about your expectations of the newbies and the depth of their pockets!
If you were more realistic you would be more beliveable.
I like some of your ideas, but I do not beleive that you are walking the talk.
If I am wrong, I do apologize for striking out at you.
And the line “you should be (mailing) $300 per month PER BLOG.” I am not sure what you really mean by this, did you mean (making)?
Thomas, you don’t need to believe me. I don’t really care. You have to believe that you can do it, which by the tone of your comment you don’t.
Take what I gave you and use it or go chase the next rainbow.

Hi Keith,
You are promoting the Semiologic Template together with caffeinated content. I tried installing my blog for the last 15 hours and encountered all kinds of problems and as you can see below, the people at Semiologic have come out to say that caffeinated content does not work with Semiologic Pro. After investing so much money and time, now I have to go through the hassle of getting these guys to refund. How do you build such an expensive course without looking into such things.
Subject: Re: FW: [Ticket ID: 886457] STILL UNABLE TO ACCESS MY WEBSITE
Sheigar,
The problem is that you are using Caffeinated Content plugin. This plugin is not compatible with Semiologic Pro. Please remove it or continue to have problems.
Regards,
Darrell
That’s BS… I use it daily. This is a case where they were lazy and didn’t want to help you.
Sorry you had to deal with that.
It works with Hostgator, SEO Hosting, WebHostforseo, and every dedicated server I own.
